I got my results from the AFP blood screening today (it tests probability of Spina Bifida) and the results were great. We now have a 1/7,800 chance of having a baby with Spina Bifida. Of course, it is a screening rather than a diagnostic test but we are really encouraged by the results. My doctor doesn't recommend amniocentesis because the risk of a problem with that test by far outweighs the risk of any abnormalities with the baby with our results from our tests. Yea!
I encourage all of you to buy stock in the GlaxoSmithKline company. They make Tums and I think that they will do well this quarter based on the amount I am having to take....(heehee)
